How to participate

Become a member – and stand stronger from day one

If you join Forskerforbundet as a new member in employment during the campaign period, you will automatically be entered into the prize draw for new members. At the same time, you will have a trade union on your side and access to member benefits from day one.

 

Refer a colleague – and make a difference

Do you know a colleague who could benefit from support at work, favourable member benefits and a strong professional community? As a member of Forskerforbundet, you can refer a colleague, no matter what type of membership you have. When the person you refer is registered as a new member in employment through your referral, you will be entered into the prize draw for referrers. Regardless of the campaign prize draw, you will also receive a NOK 500 referral reward for every member in employment you refer – there is no upper limit.

 

Four people will win

Two new members and two referrers will be selected at random after the campaign ends. Each winner will receive a digital gift card worth NOK 5,000. The membership registration or referral must be registered no later than 15 December 2026.

The Glede gift card can easily be used from your mobile phone in shops and online wherever Mastercard is accepted, or the amount can be donated to charity.

  1. The competition runs from 2 November up to and including 15 December 2026.
  2. New members in employment who join during the campaign period will automatically be entered into the prize draw for new members. 
  3. All Forskerforbundet members can refer a colleague, regardless of membership category. A referral qualifies for the prize draw when the person referred is registered as a new member in employment during the campaign period. 
  4. The standard referral reward applies independently of the campaign prize draw: for every member in employment you refer, you will receive a NOK 500 referral reward. There is no upper limit to the number of referral rewards you can receive. A referrer’s chances of winning in the campaign are subject to the terms and conditions of the prize draw. 
  5. Two winners will be selected at random from among new members and two from among referrers. Each winner will receive a digital Glede gift card worth NOK 5,000. The gift card is valid for one year from activation and cannot be exchanged for cash. 
  6. The winners will be selected after the campaign has ended and will be contacted directly.
