Forskerforbundet is a party to several agreements with Virke - Section for health, education, culture and volunteering (HUK area).
Virke represents companies in trade, service, education and health, and is the country's second largest employer organisation.
In total, Virke organizes over 25,000 member businesses with a total of more than 300,000 employees.
Forskerforbundet has approximately 1,300 members who are employed by businesses organized in Virke.
The central negotiations in the Virke area take place between the main associations and Virke. Forskerforbundet participates in the Unio Virke negotiation committee.
The local negotiations in Virke take place between the employer and the trade unions at the individual business. It is the local union representatives in the Forskerforbundet who negotiates wages for you locally.
