The State sector

Following mediation for ten hours overtime, it became clear that Unio's collective agreement with the state will be continued and strengthened. The settlement has a financial framework of 4.4 percent.

The local wage negotiations have a final deadline of October 31. The result in the central wage negotiations will be subject to a referendum for all members in the state sector. The referendum will take place from Wednesday, June 10th at 08:00 to Friday, June 19th at 16:00 and will be administered by Unio.

The central negotiations in the state take place between the main associations and the Ministry of Digitalisation and Public Governance (DFD).

Forskerforbundet is the largest association in Unio state, and the negotiating committee is led by Forskerforbundet's president Steinar A. Sæther.

Unio State

Unio has 36,642 members in the state bargaining area as of 1/1/2026. Forskerforbundet and the Norwegian Police Federation are by far the largest unions in Unio state.
