Welcome to Forskerforbundet at NTNU

At NTNU, around 80% of employees are unionized, and Forskerforbundet (the Norwegian Association of Researchers) is the largest in Norwegian academia. The Forskerforbundet branch at NTNU is a local chapter with four full-time employees who provide assistance on matters of salary, working conditions, and rights, and also offer courses, valuable member benefits, and a social community.

We work to secure better pay, stronger rights, and excellent working conditions for knowledge workers in academia. Our members include scientific, technical, administrative, and library staff.
